NOTES

Note 1. Bible order vs. Chronological order

The Bible is not presented chronologically. Rather, it is presented in a specific book order.

But when you read the Bible chronologically, you will not always be reading in book order. Instead, you will be jumping around. A lot.

Note 2. Deciding the sequence of passages

How do we decide the sequential ordering of the passages?

  1. By when it was written?
  2. By when it was spoken / took place?
  3. By when it is predicted to take place?

In some cases, all three coincide. But in many cases, they are separated by years or decades or more.

In this page, our goal is to list the passages by when they were spoken / took place.

That is often quite difficult to ascertain. So the following is our best guess.

As we gain new insights, we change these pages accordingly.
