Bold as a lion

When we walk with the LORD God, we can overcome our fears and be bold. As bold as a lion!

Proverbs 28:1. The wicked flee when no one pursues; but the righteous are as bold as a lion.

Sirach 34:14. Whoso fears the Lord shall not be afraid, and shall not play the coward; For he is his hope.

Acts 4:13. Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and had perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled. They recognized that they had been with Jesus.

Acts 19:8. He entered into the synagogue and spoke boldly for a period of three months, reasoning and persuading about the things concerning God’s Kingdom.

1 Corinthians 1:5. that in everything you were enriched in him, in all speech and all knowledge;

2 Corinthians 3:12. Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold. (NIV translation)

2 Timothy 1:7. For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. (NLT translation).

I was given a great gift. It is to be passionate about Jesus Christ and the Bible and the spiritual life. I am a Christian believer. I believe in Jesus Christ. I’m in love with Jesus!

I believe the Bible. I love the Bible. For decades, I’ve been reading it cover-to-cover, again and again and again. I’ve memorized a whole lot of Bible verses. Most of all, I want the Bible to help us fall more deeply in love with God the Father, with Jesus Christ, with other people, and with ourselves.

And I’ve been reading the great writings from the entire Christian heritage for decades.

At Explore the Faith, I share what I have discovered.
