[Adventures in Faith: Japan; the late 1980s] After open-air preaching in a popular location called Shinsaibashi, our next open-air preaching destination was Tsuruhashi.
[Adventures in Faith: Japan; 1991] After I witnessed a murder, we fled Kamagasaki. Immediately. We went to the safest place we knew. We tried to have a retreat.
For believers in the One God, praying through the whole night is a venerable part of our lives.
In the Bible, lifting your hands when you pray is the norm. Most Pentecostals and Charismatics do that. But strangely, few other Christians do.

Many Christians have dedicated a special time of day when they pray. But the Bible calls us to pray continually.
Asking for a sign is risky. We know of three major instances in the Bible where people ask for a sign. The outcome is uncertain.
The practice of Contemplative Prayer is clearly taught by some of the great heroes of the faith. But is it taught in the Bible?
