Ministry

The Holy Spirit calls us Christian believers to minister to other people. At Explore the Faith, we write about eight specific ministries.

Evangelism

Evangelism is the act of sharing the message of Jesus Christ with a non-Christian. It is also called witnessing.

Discipleship

To be a disciple means being a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ.

Apologetics

Apologetics means to have a respectful discussion about Jesus Christ with somebody who disagrees.

Ecumenism

Ecumenism means interacting with Christians from other denominations. Ecumenism builds unity.

Interfaith Dialogue

Interfaith dialogue means interacting with people from other world religions. Interfaith dialogue builds understanding and acceptance.

Laying on of Hands

In the early days of the Christian movement, the Holy Spirit arrived by wind and fire at Pentecost. But later, the Holy Spirit usually arrived by the laying on of hands.

Small Group

In a Small Group, people share a common goal and communicate collectively to achieve it.

Christians often use a small group for Bible study, prayer group, Scripture Memory, and more.

Deliverance Ministry

Deliverance ministry refers to groups that perform practices and rituals to cleanse people of demons and evil spirits.
