In chapter 10 of the "Revelations of Divine Love," Julian of Norwich beholds Jesus Christ. And wants him. Our continual seeking of God pleases him greatly. Seeking is as good as beholding.

The Book of Esther is like a beautiful bowl filled with fruit. It is appetizing and lovely to behold. But it goes down best if you eat the fruit one small bite at a time. Here are our bite-size pieces of the Book of Esther.

Esther is a young Jewish woman. During the exile in Babylon, she was selected to be the wife of king Ahasuerus. She thwarts a plan to exterminate the Jewish people. She is a great hero of the faith.

In chapter 7 of the "Revelations of Divine Love," Julian of Norwich sees that Jesus Christ is high and mighty, yet he comes alongside us as our brother and close friend. By faith, we too can know him in those ways.

[Nehemiah 12] Nehemiah lists the priests and Levites who had returned from Babylon. They celebrate the dedication of the new wall. And they give contributions for temple. God gave them great joy!
